Summer's Coming

We're in the process of wrapping up our school year program and preparing for summer. This year, as with last, we will offer three programs: 8 to 11, 11 to 13, and 14 to 17. Generally you can think of this as corresponding to elementary school, middle school, and high school, with some exceptions. The main difference between our summer program and our school year programs is that, in summer, we are out of the office 50 to 80% of the time each session day. Whereas school year focuses on more classroom-type  and meal time behaviors, summer focuses more on community-based behaviors across a variety of environments. In all cases, the activities, use of technology, and other program elements all act as a "hook" for us to be able to work on our primary six areas: executive functioning, pragmatic language, social competence, academic readiness, daily living, and environmental awareness. Not every child needs intervention in all of these areas, which is something we determine through a pre-group assessment.

If you have already signed up for one of our summer programs, parent orientations will begin in June for the 8 to 11 program.  For the 11 to 13 and 14 to 17-year-old programs, orientations will begin at the end of June and early July.

If you are interested in our school year programs, go ahead and click on the contact form and we will be in touch in July as we begin to prepare for our October through May 2019 school year sessions.

If you are interested in our adult programs, these run year-round.  Click on the contact form so we can be in touch to discuss your or your adult child's needs.
